(1st - 5th Grade)
Fitting in the Additional and Supporting Math Standards can be challenging!  The lessons often occur late in the school year, creating a time crunch to get our students to mastery.  In our session, we will begin by digging into the Additional and Supporting Math Standards.  We will then introduce a tool you can use right away in your Math instruction to preview or review these important standards.

(1st - 5th Grade)

(4th-6th Grade)

Building student agency and ownership may seem like a long road ahead but breaking it up into steps and strategies will help prevent burn out at the end of each day. We'll examine best practices and do several activities together to increase effectiveness while also fostering a sense of belonging, relevancy, and ownership for students.

UFLI Foundations is an explicit and systematic supplemental phonics program that introduces students to the foundational reading skills necessary for proficient reading. It was developed by the University of Florida Literacy Institute (UFLI). This session will guide you in using UFLI as a Tier 2 instructional resource to deliver comprehensive phonics intervention in targeted small groups.
